Big News: Access to 5,000+ Job Boards

We’ve launched our first job board integration with Broadbean, enabling you to multi-post jobs to over 5,000+ job boards directly from Spott.

Once set up, you can publish new postings from Job Advertising, and inbound applicants are automatically processed, ranked, and delivered into Spott for review.

This is a major step toward making Spott a complete job distribution and inbound pipeline system for modern agencies.

Import Candidates via CSV

You can now import candidates via CSV, making it effortless to bring entire talent lists into Spott in one go.

Supported fields include:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email
  • LinkedIn URL
  • Phone number

This means you can move from spreadsheet to pipeline in seconds.

To get started, go to:

Candidates tab → Import / Export (top right)

Generic Outreach Campaigns

Outbound is now more flexible than ever.

Based on your feedback, we’ve added support for generic outreach campaigns where only a recipient is required.

This unlocks use cases like:

  • Networking
  • Warm introductions
  • Pipeline building
  • Outreach without tying everything to a specific job

Advanced Candidate Filters

Candidate search is now significantly more powerful with advanced boolean filtering.

You can now combine criteria using AND / OR operators, for example:

  • Multiple job titles
  • Industry + location combinations
  • Highly specific talent pool segments

To create your first Advanced Filter:

Click the three dots on any candidate filter → Convert to Filter Group

This makes sourcing faster, sharper, and far more precise.

Bulk Enrich Phone, Email, and LinkedIn Profiles

We’ve added the ability to bulk enrich phone numbers, email addresses, and social profiles for both Candidates and Contacts.

Enrichment runs automatically in the background and updates records as soon as new data is found. Most enrichments complete within 2 to 3 minutes.

To run enrichment:

Select multiple candidates → Click Enrich in the action bar

Less manual digging, faster outreach, richer profiles.

Role-Based Access Controls

Spott is now better suited for larger agencies.

Role-based access controls are available for sensitive actions like:

  • Export
  • Merge
  • Delete
  • Admin-level operations

Existing Admin and Member roles have been migrated automatically, and Admins can now customize permissions by role.

Configure access here:

Settings → Security tab

Better Rejection Reasons

Rejection reasons have been improved with clearer structured labels.

You can now distinguish whether a candidate was rejected:

  • Internally by your team
  • By the client
  • Withdrawn by the candidate

These labels will also be included in Reports in a future update.

Meeting Video Playback

Video recordings of your calls are now available directly inside Spott.

This makes it easier to revisit key conversations without switching tools.

Recordings appear automatically if the Spott Note Taker was present once processing is complete.

Candidate Activity Feeds

Candidate Activity Feeds are now live, giving you a complete timeline of actions taken on every candidate.

You can easily retrace:

  • Updates
  • Stage changes
  • Interactions
  • Collaboration history

This improves visibility and accountability across the hiring process.

Mobile Contact Search

You can now search for people directly in the Spott mobile app and instantly access key contact details like:

  • Email
  • Phone
  • LinkedIn

Perfect for staying productive when you’re on the go.

Looking Ahead

January brought a major set of upgrades across sourcing, outreach, permissions, and collaboration.

More automation and workflow improvements are coming next month.

As always, thanks for building with Spott.

Frequently Asked

  • What new job board integration features did Spott release in January 2026?

Spott launched a Broadbean partnership in January 2026 that enables multi-posting to over 5,000 job boards directly from the platform's Job Advertising section. The integration goes beyond simple posting -- it automatically processes and ranks inbound applicants using AI, so recruiters spend less time manually screening responses. This means agencies can publish roles to thousands of boards and let Spott's AI-native matching immediately surface the strongest candidates from the applicant pool, significantly reducing time-to-shortlist.

  • How does Spott's bulk data enrichment work for candidate records?

Spott's January 2026 update introduced CSV import and bulk enrichment capabilities that let recruiters upload candidate lists with basic details like name, email, LinkedIn URL, and phone number. The platform then automatically enriches those records in the background within two to three minutes, filling in missing phone numbers, email addresses, and LinkedIn profile data. This is particularly useful for agencies migrating prospect lists or building talent pools from event contacts, turning sparse spreadsheets into fully enriched, searchable candidate profiles without manual research.

  • What role-based access controls did Spott add for recruiting agencies?

Spott's January 2026 release introduced configurable role-based access controls that let agency leaders define granular permissions for export, merge, delete, and admin operations by user role. Administrators can set these permissions in Settings > Security, and existing Admin/Member roles migrated automatically. This gives growing agencies enterprise-grade security controls to protect sensitive candidate and client data while ensuring individual recruiters have access to exactly the tools they need for their workflows.

  • Can Spott run outreach campaigns without linking them to a specific job?

Yes, the January 2026 update introduced generic outreach campaigns that do not require a job context. Recruiters can now launch outreach sequences for networking, warm introductions, pipeline building, and relationship nurturing without tying the campaign to an open role. This supports recipient-only campaigns, making Spott useful for proactive business development and talent pool engagement beyond active requisitions -- a workflow that most traditional ATS platforms do not accommodate natively.
