Founding Recruiter
About the Role
People are everything at Spott. As Founding Recruiter, you'll build the team that builds Spott. Over the next 12 months we'll grow from 30 to 60 people across three offices, Belgium, New York, and Sydney, and the founders will stay involved in every hire alongside you. One extra perk: you'll recruit using Spott itself, the AI workspace for recruiters, sitting one desk away from the people building it.
Responsibilities
- Own hiring execution end to end: sourcing, first interviews, scheduling, and follow-ups
- Build a scalable foundation for onboarding and reviews so every new Spotter ramps up fast
- Set up talent intelligence for hard-to-fill roles and build a candidate database across roles and geographies
- Recruit with Spott itself, our AI-native ATS & CRM, plus our partner tools and integrations
Requirements
- A highly driven talent acquisition or agency recruiter
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing) with results you personally drove
- Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn, outbound, referrals) and the ability to run multiple searches at once across engineering, sales, and customer success
- High energy, strong ownership, and the ability to build processes from scratch in ambiguity
- Clear, confident communication in English (Dutch/French a plus); product curiosity is a big plus
