Data Engineer

About the Role

As Data Engineer at Spott, you'll own end-to-end data migration processes, helping recruitment firms move from legacy systems to our AI-native platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize complex data migrations from legacy systems
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt and Snowflake
• Establish clear processes for data handling and create documentation
• Own end-to-end migration processes including data injection into production
• Support customer success during migrations

Requirements

• Experience with dbt, SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Python
• Ability to navigate undocumented systems and reverse-engineer data models
• Problem-solving through practical, experimentation-focused approaches
• Terraform and Azure experience preferred
